My friend Louise from the Bay Area comes up with ideas for me. She mentioned that she saw a photo of some lantana which she thought might give me some ideas. Not only did it give me ideas but it again reminded me of a place in Richmond, California where we lived where I decided one year to plant red and yellow lantana in our front yard. It was particularly nice the first year and it was a mass of reds, yellows, and oranges filling up a modest plot of our yard. Oh, the color. I remember how glorious it was.
