This comet was able to be seen in both hemispheres at the same time in 2007. It was huge. The tail was amazingly long. It was said that it was the best comet in 40 years. Unfortunately you had to have a view of the horizon to see it. Living near the Sierra Nevada mountains, even when I went to one of the highest locations in the area, they prevented the viewing of this spectacular phenomenon. So what did I do? Why paint it of course!
